Resumen

Esta investigación basada en el diseño exploró los resultados del aprendizaje de idiomas al ver avances de películas en una gran clase de oratoria que se ofrece tanto en entornos de aprendizaje f2f como en línea. En este estudio de 12 semanas, la instrucción fue f2f durante las primeras cuatro semanas y en línea durante las ocho semanas restantes. Los datos fueron recolectados de 58 estudiantes universitarios de primer año a través de entrevistas y sometidos a análisis de contenido cualitativo. Los resultados indicaron que ver avances estimuló la participación y mejoró el habla, la pronunciación y el aprendizaje y el recuerdo del vocabulario. Además, los avances de películas ayudaron a aumentar su motivación y disposición para comunicarse. Por lo tanto, se argumenta que los avances de las películas brindan contribuciones positivas al infundir numerosas ventajas pedagógicas en los planes de estudio de idiomas extranjeros, lo que sugiere que es gratificante usarlos tanto en las clases de expresión oral en línea como en f2f.
