Porta Linguarum Journal is indexed in the Web of Science by Clarative Analytics, which guarantees that the quality criteria and requirements of the journals included in this database are met, such as external evaluators, double-blind evaluation system, openness, and international dissemination, among others. Within the JCR, the journal is indexed in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) and Social Sciences Citation Index (SCCI) databases with an impact of 1.2 for the year 2022. It is thus one of the few Spanish journals in the area of foreign language teaching that is indexed in the WoS. It also has a JCI (Journal Citation Indicator) in 2022 of 0.67.
