Abstract

This article analyses the progressive disempowerment of teachers rooted in professional concepts, institutional culture and educational change processes and it speculates on the mission that school consultation could develop to support the reversal of this process. It proposes the recovery of advocacy school consultation to give voice to students in order to promote teacher empowerment.
