Resumen

Teachers' positive interpersonal behaviors play a key role in the field of education and are essential for creating a positive classroom climate, facilitating student learning, and improving learning outcomes.2022 In November 2022 Springer Publishing House published a book edited by Ali Derakhshan, a leading Iranian scholar, titled "5Cs of Positive Teacher Interpersonal Behavior-... -Implications for Learner Empowerment and Learning in Second Language Settings‖. The main purpose of the book is to explore the role of positive teacher interpersonal behaviors in second/foreign language teaching and providing theoretical support and empirical validation of the role of teacher interpersonal behaviors in foreign language learning outcomes. Teachers' positive communicative behaviors originate from Positive Psychology (Positive Psychology), which as an emerging field and an important branch of psychology has received more and more attention from scholars. This paper first introduces its main content, followed by a brief evaluation.

Yunsong Wang, Nanjing Normal University, China

Yunsong Wang is a postgraduate student of Applied Linguistics at School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing Normal University, China. He serves as a peer reviewer for journals like Current Psychology, Heliyon, PONE etc. He is also the guest editor for the Forum for Linguistic Studies special issue. In recent years, he has developed a keen interest in the theory and practice of English language teaching, and the relationship between positive psychology and foreign language teaching research.

Yongxiang Wang, Nanjing Normal University, China

Yongxiang Wang is full professor in applied linguistics, dean, and Ph.D supervisor with School of Foreign Languages and Cultures, Nanjing Normal University, People’s Republic of China. His research interest lies in cultural semiotics studies, discourse analysis, and EFL language teaching and learning. Besides, he serves as the editor-in-chief for Chinese Semiotic Studies. Recently, he has been attempting to link semiotics theory to EFL language teaching and learning in the Chinese education context.
