Les attitudes des futurs professeurs de FLE envers l’expression orale en présentiel et à distance

Abstract

L’objectif de cet article est d’étudier les différences d’attitudes des apprenants/futurs professeurs de français langue étrangère envers le fait de parler en langue étrangère dans les deux modèles d’enseignement : en présentiel et à distance. Pour ce faire, une méthode de recherche qualitative a été menée dans une université d’État en Turquie. Pour recueillir les données, des entretiens semi-structurés ont été réalisés avec 12 apprenants. Les données obtenues ont été évaluées par le biais de programme d’analyse de données qualitatives. Les résultats ont montré que la quasi-totalité des participants avaient des attitudes et opinions négatives concernant l’enseignement à distance et plus spécifiquement envers le fait de parler en langue étrangère dans ce contexte et que la différence d’attitude manifestée par les apprenants était liée à divers facteurs affectifs, communicatifs et techniques.

Author Biographies

İrem Onursal Ayirir, Hacettepe University, Türkiye

Associate professor at Hacettepe University (Ankara/Turkey) in the Department of Didactics of French as a Foreign Language. She did her undergraduate studies in the Department of Translation-Interpretation, then completed her doctorate in the Department of Didactics of FLE at the same university in 2005. Her thesis, entitled Les apports de la linguistique à l'enseignement du FLE (The contribution of linguistics to the teaching of French as a foreign language), was published by Editions Universitaires Européennes. She did post-doctoral research in analysis of discourse in interaction at the University Lumière Lyon 2 (department of literature, language sciences and art) and at the ENS de Lyon (ICAR laboratory). Her main areas of research are linguistics, discourse analysis, pragmatics and didactics of French as a Foreign Language. Her recent articles focus specifically on French teaching (foreign language learning strategies, early French teaching, motivation in FLE teaching). Her main publications include Pour analyser les textes et les discours, published by L'Harmattan. She is also co-author and co-editor of the book Dil Bilimleri ve Dil Öğretimi (Linguistics and Language Teaching) published by Seçkin.

Yıldız Fakioğlu Gökduman, Hacettepe University, Türkiye

Research assistant in the Department of Didactics of French as a Foreign Language at Hacettepe University.  She holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in the didactics of French as a foreign language from the same university.  She is currently doing her doctoral studies in the same field of study. Her main areas of research are motivation, cognitivism, ICT in mediation in foreign language teaching.
