Author Biographies

Zhonghui Huang, Hubei University of Technology, China

Associate professor of applied linguistics at the School of Foreign Languages, Hubei University of Technology, China.  She obtained her master’s degree in language education from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. Her research interests center on CLIL practices in institutions of higher education, as well as pedagogical approaches and classroom discourse in EMI and CLIL contexts. She has been involved in bilingual education for more than ten years in various interdisciplinary and intercultural settings such as China, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

Chili Li, Hubei University of Technology, China

Professor of applied linguistics at the School of Foreign Languages, Hubei University of Technology, China. He obtained his PhD in applied linguistics from the University of Liverpool, UK. His research interests are but not limited to applied linguistics, and foreign language education. His works appeared in Porta Linguarum, Journal of Second Language Writing, and System. His recent monograph is published with Springer. He serves as reviewer for a number of SSCI-indexed journals including Applied Linguistics Review, International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, International Review of Applied Linguistics in Language Teaching, Porta Linguarum, and System.
