Abstract

This study shows the results of the use of Model-Eliciting Activities for learning correlation and linear regression. Participants acquired, expanded, and refined their statistical knowledge and skills, organizing, analyzing, and representing data, establishing correlations, and determining regression lines and coefficients of determination; In addition, with the proposed models, they made conclusions, explanations, descriptions, and predictions of the model's behavior. Progress was made in understanding the importance of using adequate graphical representations and the benefits of technology in processing bivariate statistical data.
