Coordinado por Rosa García Gutiérrez, directora de la Cátedra Juan Ramón Jiménez, este monográfico explora el viaje de 1948 de Juan Ramón Jiménez al Río de la Plata, donde vivió una “segunda primavera” creativa. En Argentina y Uruguay, el poeta revitalizó su espíritu gracias al fervor del público, conferencias y encuentros literarios. Durante el viaje escribió gran parte de Animal de fondo, obra clave de la poesía moderna, y estrechó lazos con figuras del exilio como Alberti y Ayala. Los artículos analizan cómo esta experiencia impactó en jóvenes poetas y en la literatura hispánica, reafirmando la vigencia de su obra en tiempos de exilio y posguerra.
