Resumo

The present article explores the 25 research most significant in the field of School Effectiveness. These investigations demonstrate the successful evolution that the School Effectiveness Movement has developed in almost a century, their progress and how they had contributed to the improvement of education. Finally, providing a synthetic view of the magnitude that these investigations have reach in School Effectiveness Movement, the article presents an overview of the contexts and characteristics of each stage of the movement
