Abstract

This paper shows a review of the equality public policies in education over the last decade in Spain and, especially, in Andalusia. The paper summarizes the regulatory framework developed with the main objectives, methods and means implemented to promote equality in education. We conducted a present balance of plans, programs and actions of the Andalusian government on equality and prevention of gender-based violence in education and reflect on future challenges.
