En el futuro utilizaré corpus en mi clase: ¿es realmente adecuado?

Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar las habilidades pedagógicas de los docentes en servicio que les permitan explotar corpus con éxito en su enseñanza diaria. Los profesores asistieron a un curso intensivo de formación y luego se les pidió que presentaran proyectos de fin de curso. Los proyectos involucraron el diseño de planes de lecciones basados ​​en los contextos de enseñanza y la implementación de corpus en estos planes de acuerdo con sus contextos. Los resultados del proyecto revelaron que los planes presentados eran preliminares y básicos en cuanto al uso de recursos y actividades del corpus. Sin embargo, los profesores estaban realmente interesados ​​en implementar corpus en su enseñanza diaria. Los profesores aplicaron corpus como metodología didáctica adicional y en actividades complementarias tras explicar los objetivos, periodos, focos, etc. de las unidades de aprendizaje. Utilizaron corpus como fuentes de información complementarias prácticas, lo cual era comprensible para una aplicación temprana. Los maestros parecían dispuestos a implementar corpus en sus aulas y no necesitaban más capacitación, pero aún podrían necesitar más orientación y comentarios sobre la aplicación por primera vez, lo que podría conducir a una implementación exitosa.

She is an assistant professor in the Department of Languages and Translation, Faculty of Education and Arts, Northern Border University in Saudi Arabia. She has an interest in language education, teacher education, corpus linguistics and language teaching, with primary focus on corpus-based approaches for teaching collocations.
