This research studies the self-efficacy of the teaching of mathematics of the fourth-year students of the Primary Education degree of the University of Azuay, Cuenca, Ecuador, and Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain. In this study, the Personal Mathematics Teaching Efficacy questions from the Mathematics Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument were selected. The results obtained show significant differences between the students of the two universities. This study indicates that the Level Mathematical Curriculum can influence students' self-efficacy.
