The objectives of the study examined the perceived degree of preparation that teachers have tointegrate ICT as tools to support students with disabilities and find out if they believe that schools
have the technological resources materials suitable for this integration. A total of 116 teachers
from various stages of three centers in Alicante participated in the study. We designed a
questionnaire to examine whether they feel prepared to help students in the use of ICT. The
results indicated that teachers feel quite prepared to assist students with disabilities. However,
we found differences in the level of perceived competence to integrate ICT in education based on
the formative stage and teaching experience. The results suggest that the lack of preparation is
the main factor influencing the use of ICT to support students with disabilities, therefore,
motivation, and teacher training are essential to achieve full integration of disabled students.
