Resumo

This paper analyzes changes of gender and authority social representations and practices in the judicial staff of the National Supreme Court of Justice in Mexico after participating in the program "Training in Family Democracy as a way to prevent family gender violence" This training was developed in Mexico City (DF) by the Democratization Family team of Instituto Mora. The analysis, based on the social representations theory, comes from the evaluation developed at the beginning and end of the training process. We describe the cognitive and emotional changes around the concepts and practices of gender and authority family relationships
