Abstract

The experience that we seek has been accomplished through a mentoring program of two teachers new to the Faculty of Sport Science in the University of Granada, by means of a previous personal interview between the mentor and each teacher, followed by an improvement cycle in an effort to detect the weaknesses of each individual beginner, and finally through conducting various workshops and seminars which were organized in the training program, we now seek progress which is to be assessed by a second improvement cycle. Results are obtained by numerous, favorable changes in their teaching, improvement in the organization, management and control of their classes as well as regarding to how they carry out their presentations (oral expression, body position and the message). In this manner we have accomplished to give these teachers a greater self-confidence and better management organization and implementation of their classes, thereby improving their teaching
