Revisores

Articles are reviewed by reviewers with experience and knowledge in the area of interest addressed by the article. Their judgement is objective and not subject to any conflict of interest that could affect the research or its authors. RELIEVE employs a double-blind peer review process that guarantees anonymity of manuscripts, which are audited within the Open Journal System (OJS) platform.

The platform houses a guide for article review through a specially designed review template. This template is filled out on the screen and the author is sent a copy. In addition, the reviewer can attach a document outlining comments or suggestions to improve the article.

All articles are assigned a reference number that guarantees their anonymity throughout the editorial process. This number is used by both reviewers and authors to identify the paper in all communications. The editor can reject an article if it is considered that the paper does not meet submission criteria. All submitted works are subjected to a double blind peer review process conducted by two experts in the field. This process typically takes between six and eight weeks. Reviewers suggestions are sent to authors, who are invited to perform the requested changes and return the manuscript within a time-frame of two weeks. The second review will take approximately four weeks.

The RELIEVE journal, in order to maintain and guarantee quality standards, publishes a list of the reviewers who have collaborated with the journal in recent years at the following link: Access to the list of RELIEVE reviewers.

The RELIEVE journal, thanks all researchers, professionals and academics for their contribution to reviewing received articles, regardless of whether or not they are published.
