Abstract

This study is part of a broader research that aims to design a model of analysis of educational systems assessment, based in social cohesion (Jornet, 2012). The starting point is located in previous research about the context variables; it is cared more frequently a theoretical justification and metric quality of output variables, leaving aside the variables that can help interpret the results. In our case, we conducted a review of the scientific literature, based in empirical papers that use PISA database and published between 2000 and 2012. The methodology is structured in two phases: identification and selection of documents and further analysis of these documents. The analysis of documents consists of identifying certain indicators in order to explore. Some results suggest that researchers in the field of education underuse PISA databases.

Dora Pereira, Researcher in Education and Community Intervention

Professor and researcher at the Research in Education and Community Intervention (RECI) (Piaget- Institute -Portugal ). Specialist in Educational Assessment. Author of several articles in the field of evaluation of education systems, psychoeducation and gender. Member of the Group of Medición y Evaluación (GEM- UV), Member of RIIED and RIMESE.

María Jesús Perales, Universitat de València

Pedagoga, Doctora en Ciencias de la Educación. Profesora Titular de Universidad del área de Métodos de Investigación en Educación. Ha impartido docencia desde 1997 sobre medición y evaluación educativa, especialmente centrada en evaluación de programas socioeducativos. Miembro del Grupo de Evaluación y Medición (www.uv.es/gem), sus principales líneas de investigación son el desarrollo de planes de evaluación en ámbitos sociales y de cooperación internacional, y el desarrollo de pruebas de medición para variables socioeducativas. Ha participado en una decena de proyectos de investigación, y ha liderado tres proyectos de investigación competitivos, a nivel universitario y nacional, destacando en la actualidad el Proyecto I+D EVALEF en el ámbito de estilos educativos familiares.

Margarita Bakieva, Universitat de València

Máster en Política, Gestión y Dirección de los Centros Educativos y Licenciada en Pedagogía por Universitat de València. Actualmente realiza el Doctorado en Educación en la Universidad de Valencia. Colabora en el Departamento de Métodos de Investigación y Diagnóstico en Educación (MIDE) en la Facultad de Filosofía y Ciencias de la Educación, Universitat de València. Miembro del Grupo de Evaluación y Medición GEM-Educo (www.uv.es/gem/gemeduco). Miembro del Grupo de Innovación Docente InnovaMIDE (http://www.uv.es/innovamide). Desarrolla su investigación en torno al tema de evaluación de la dimensión de la Colegialidad Docente, en el marco de la evaluación de Sistemas Educativos para la Cohesión Social.
