The relationships between personality and career decisionmaking in undergraduates are analyzed in this work. Thehypothesis is that efficient personality is associated withthe more mature process of career decision making. Forthis hypothesis, the Questionnaire of Efficient Personalityand the Inventory of Career Factors was administered to497 students in their final year of undergraduate school. The collected data was put under factorial analysis, analysisof differences of averages, and analysis of variance. The results confirm that an effective personality is tied tocareer decision making based as much on one´s knowledgeof oneself as an understanding of the working world.Downloads
