Incorporation of Equality Plans in Social Action Entities. A proposal for diagnosis, design and implementation
Main Article Content
Abstract
Equality plans are a tool that contributes to achieving equal treatment and opportunities between men and women. In the social action sector they are particularly relevant given the confluence of unequal opportunities that occur. This article proposes a methodology for the evaluation, design and implementation of an equality plan in a social action organisation such as the Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Federation. It uses a participatory methodology based on an exhaustive diagnosis in which the workers and members of the board of directors of the organisation participate. The analysis of the diagnosis will define a package of measures that are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The final result is the implementation of the commitment to the principle of equal opportunities between women and men in the organisational culture of the Cystic Fibrosis associative movement.
