This article is intended as a modest contribution to the numerous studies on the multifaceted and profuse work of Dario Fo, focusing on his lesser known comic plays. We will offer a brief comparison between two translations of one of these plays into two Spanish dialects (Spain and Mexico), to analyse, using a number of examples, the different solutions proposed by the translators to the problems posed to them when translating the original Italian.
