Resumen

The 21 st century classroom is not confined to a physical classroom at all. Because of the increasing proliferation of educational technologies and the recognition of the importance of technological literacies in multiple settings, Universities are expanding instruction beyond traditional walls and classrooms. New delivery methods hold possibilities for responding to a variety of lifestyles and student needs. As with any technology, however, the use of technology-based course delivery or supported by them, brings its own set of challenges that might inadvertently restrict access to higher education rather than increase it. Steps can be taken, however, to reduce the possibility
of problems and increase opportunities for student success.
