Resumen

This article highlights some of the results of research on university student collective opinions. Specifically, we try to analyze the aspects of university life in which students are involved and how can university life affect their future career and teacher’s activity. A questionnaire was conducted to 1082 students of the University of Seville, from the results it should be pointed out that the aspects most valued by students are discussions of issues after lectures, case studies, project work and discussions. Which has attracted less interest is the explanation of topics by students. Resources most valued are experts who visit their classrooms, well equipped laboratories and other latest resources such as online platforms. According to the evaluation, students consider the teacher should explain precisely the evaluation criteria that will be used, assesss knowledge through test and class works should also contribute to raise their marks. They express a special interest to be evaluated through the attention paid during the year. The results obtained indicate the importance they attach to teacher’s activity, low participation, characteristics of good teacher, how to be at university and what is their compromise as students.
