Estimadas/os investigadoras/es de Impossibilia: Desde la dirección Impossibilia queremos informarles de que la revista ha entrado directamente al Q2 en SJR en la categoría Literature and Literary Theory (además de Q3 en Cultural Studies y Q3 en Arts and Humanities Miscellaneous). The journal Impossibilia is now included in Scopus. It is another step towards the consolidation of this publication, already included, among others, in Web of Science (ESCI) and has received the quality seal of the FECYT one more year.

Issue 28 of Impossibilia. International Journal of Literary Studies, with the monograph “Cuando el acorde llega: literatura y canción popular contemporánea”, coordinated by Pablo Núñez Díaz (University of Oviedo, Spain) and Sabrina Riva (University of Mar del Plata, Argentina). It is accompanied in the miscellaneous section by texts on Latin American science fiction, decolonial studies, Angela Carter's Wolf trilogy, Carmen Conde or historical memory in Spanish theater.

Call for papers: Mujeres en el arte secuencial y la narrativa gráfica en el ámbito hispano (N.29, mayo 2025)

Impossibilia. Revista Internacional de Estudios Literarios invita a la comunidad investigadora a proponer artículos para el monográfico Mujeres en el arte secuencial y la narrativa gráfica en el ámbito hispano, que será coordinado por Adriana Gordillo (Universidad Minnesota State University, Mankato-Estados Unidos) y Carlos Mario Mejía Suárez (Gustavus Adolphus College-Estados Unidos).

El monográfico número 29 de Impossibilia aborda cómo la narrativa gráfica, el cómic, o el arte secuencial se han convertido en una de las industrias globales más pujantes de las últimas décadas, alcanzando ventas billonarias en 2020. Su producción y consumo masivo lo hacen un espacio clave de discusión y difusión de ideas que nos permitirá hacer una radiografía cultural del mundo hispano. Este medio híbrido, que combina texto e imagen, fomenta discusiones que van desde la valoración estética (visual y escrita) a la teoría de respuesta del lector, las discusiones sobre la industria de masas, la influencia de las redes sociales y el crecimiento de un nuevo mercado editorial hasta los análisis temáticos y simbólicos de las obras.

Impossibilia, Q2 in Dialnet Metrics (Philologies), and the renewal of its website

Impossibilia. International Journal of Literary Studies has received a Q2 classification in the field of Philologies within Dialnet Metrics. This adds another recognition following the achievement of the Quality Seal from FECYT earlier this year.

Additionally, the journal's website has been updated to meet the new international quality criteria.
