Abstract

Emotional intelligence plays a fundamental role in the professional orientation of adolescents in the stage prior to choosing their profession. In this sense, the preparation of teachers must be aimed at training them to manage emotions, in themselves and in that of the students; so that they can choose their career in a conscious, committed and responsible way. A system of methodological activities is proposed that equips Humanities teachers for the successful conduction of the process of professional orientation towards pedagogical careers based on the development of emotional intelligence.
