Contributions are accepted from the professional world - primarily from social work and secondarily from related fields - of different types and content, which contribute to bringing the world of research, the world of training and the world of social work practice closer together.

The documents will not be subjected to external evaluation1 - peer review - but mainly internal evaluation - with or without external advice - carried out by a specific Editing Sub-Committee, made up of people closely related to the world of the professional practice of social work-social intervention.

The texts to be published in the PRAXIS section may be of two different types, with specific requirements:

- “Practice Paper” modality ( Practice paper )

- “Notes and practice testimonies modality

The PRAXIS section also constitutes a university training service in procedures, techniques and standards of scientific writing for practicing professionals, for the development of skills for preparing scientific texts referring to professional practices, facilitating the emergence and consolidation of the social worker researcher (research practicioner).

All actions related to admission, evaluation, advice, proposals for improvement, reformulations of originals, etc., as well as the communications generated between authors and editors and between editors, will be collected on the digital platform of the journal (OJS-3).

1 The Praxis section was modified in 2021, changing its peer review policy to internal review. You can consult the Editorial Note for Volume 11 (2021) here.
