Abstract
This article presents a case study showcased at the II Intercollegiate Conference on Health Social Work (September 2024, University of Deusto). It systematizes the experience of a social worker during a one-year contract in a public addiction treatment service and highlights the identification of four indicative signs of the devaluation of the Social Work profession within the biopsychosocial teams of Addiction Treatment Centers.
