Abstract
Within the framework of the research project "Contemporary Dynamics of Communication in Art and Architecture", the HUM183 research group and the SOBRELab platform, with the collaboration of ETSAM and ETSAG, organized the seminar Contemporary Dynamics of Communication in Architecture, during September 8 and 9, 2022 at the Madrid School of Architecture.
Through dialogue and debate, from an open perspective, the seminar analyzed paradigm shifts in terms of how to communicate disciplinary, professional, and social issues that concern architecture.
We now present a set of data files that collect concerns, ideas, problems, and approaches that the participants in this seminar raise in relation to their communication activity on social media.
Professionals with various profiles participated in the seminar, and this is reflected in these files: architecture studios that communicate their professional production on the media; architecture photographers; architects who develop virtual environments; institutions dedicated to the dissemination, research or archiving architecture; as well as professionals dedicated to the communication of architecture, some aimed at more general audiences and others at more specialists in the field.
