Landscape study in secondary education: A review from the natural sciences textbooks

Abstract

This research analyzes how the Natural Sciences textbooks of Secondary Education in Spain address the topic of landscape. The research undertook a comparative analysis of the landscape contents alternatively included in the different textbooks that were prepared following the guidelines of both the current educative law and its predecessor. Results point out that the study of landscape proposed in the current textbooks is more limited, poorer, than a decade ago.
