Resumen

The paper, like presentation of the monographic number, does an extensive current revision of the “Growth of Knowledge in Teaching” of Shulman. In this sense, contextualizes and describes some of its components. In second, analyzes in what measure can serve for (al the same as the “didactic transposition”) to support the subject matter didactics as well as its implications about teacher education. Finally, it formulates a revision and limitations of the program as well as its last developments through the “scholarship of the teaching and the learning” in the higher education.
