Resumen

The problems that educational systems have are of a technical and metaphysic nature. For the majority of educationalists, aims are the key issue. When these aims are clear teaching planning, organization and management are facilitated. In this paper a revision on the main problems of education all over the world is offered and this constitutes the school agenda. The problems have been synthesised around ten key-words, which interweave the social “tissue” and consequently the school atmosphere. The key concepts are: our world, economy, planet earth, human condition, coexistence, values, rationality, language, family and social community. All these factors are “characters” in search of an author that integrate them in a story with a beginning, a middle and a happy end, if possible. The problem of life and schools is that they miss a narrative on which they can base their personal biographical projects and life together. This proposal has considerable effects on the different models of professionals in the field of education.
