The aim of this communication is focused in analysing the origins of the relation between politics and literature in the thought shaping of this Granada’s writer and sociologist in his period before working as a lawyer in the courts of the Spanish Republic. As an undergraduate, Ayala was not only soaked in strictly literary readings, but he was carefully studying the writings of Marx, Proudhon, Stimer, Georges Sorel, Nietzche and Schopenhauer. Besides, he engaged heavily in the secret meetings of the Federación Universitaria Escolar and the Unión Liberal de Estudiantes, catalyst associations of the youth intellectuals’ rejection against Primo de Rivera’s dictatorship.Downloads
