Les Vivants et les Ombres de Diane Meur à la lumière de la narratologie « non naturelle »

Cet article se propose de présenter brièvement une branche dynamique des études narratives contemporaines, nommée « narratologie non naturelle », en prenant l’exemple d’un roman belge de langue française, paru en 2007, à savoir Les Vivants et les Ombres de Diane Meur. Il s’agit surtout d’examiner la narratrice non humaine de ce texte afin de dégager sa spécificité, à la fois au niveau de ses pratiques narratives et sous l’angle de son influence sur la dimension générique du texte. La conclusion met l’accent sur les transformations contemporaines du roman historique, dues notamment à l’introduction d’instances narratives « non naturelles » qu’il est possible d’interpréter à la lumière des tendances posthumanistes de la culture contemporaine et des caractéristiques de la littérature postmoderne.
