Abstract

Criticism of the Senecan drama often interpretad the heavy presence of passions as a dramatization of the author´s stoic thought. Many of these approaches lack rigor. Tragedy, not only Senecan, was a generic form used talk about the passions and to raise them in the auditorium. In this papers I critize these proposals that distort the interpretation of senecan Tragedy.
