In this paper, the aim is to present the existing image of future teachers of Primary Education about the period of Ancient History. For this, students of 4th grade of Primary Education of the Centro de Magisterio Virgen de Europa of La Línea de la Concepción (attached center of the University of Cádiz) have been passed a questionnaire with questions about different cultures, events and characters of antiquity in order to assess the degree of knowledge they have of Universal Ancient History and, more specifically, about the importance of the Campo de Gibraltar area in classical antiquity.
