The asturian traditional landscape in the narratives of children of 6th of primary school

This article is included in a line of research on visual historical literacy that focuses on the students´ knowledge about rural heritage. Using the painting Harvesting the apple by N. Piñole, a group of sixth year of Primary Education students (11-12 years) from a school in Asturias were asked to construct narratives. Results on the interpretation of the traditional rural landscape from Asturias were obtained following the analysis of the students´ productions.
