Joaquín Costa: una pasión de poder
Abstract
Joaquín Costa has often been presented as a victim of his extraordinarily hostile circumstances: a humble origin, a degenerative disease, academic rejection and political betrayals. From his memories (2011) and other recent editions and studies we have access not only to the suffering writer but also to the young person who sighs for being Minister, reaching a universal reputation and reforming political life. The final aim of the work is to describe Costa’s ideology, which differs in his private formulation from his public expression.
