De poetas y discursos disidentes: María Ángeles Maeso
Abstract
This monograph is dedicated to the critical trend of Spanish contemporary poetry –the so-called poetry of conscience–, and pays special attention to poet María Ángeles Maeso. By means of a contextual review, we will point out the most relevant milestones within this critical poetry, highlighting the strategies proposed from this poetic approach as alternatives to the logics of hegemonic powers. In the case of Maeso, the significance of giving voice and bring to the surface those realities which surround us but remain unseen is essential to demonstrate the relationships between language and periphery.
