Identidades trasplantadas: pérdida y recuperación de la raíz en las metáforas del cabello de Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Abstract
El presente artículo trata de explorar el uso que de la “metáfora del cabello” lleva a cabo Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie en su novela Americanah, como recurso estilístico para enfatizar cuestiones identitarias de una mujer africana en la diáspora. A través de un análisis textual de las distintas fases de trasformación que experimenta la protagonista, examinamos la co-construcción de la identidad en un espacio trasnacional, entendida esta última, como un proceso fluido fruto de la subjetivación de los actores.
