Since Resistencia was published in 2002, Rosa Aneiros has become an established writer within the Galician literary system. Her production reflects a special preference for creating a fictional world where the presence of historical reality, especially recent history, is decisive. In order to analyse this “real/historical” element and its use, we are going to approach Resistencia, a novel set in the Salazarian dictatorship (1933-1974), and the extent to which this impacts on the plot of the play. Thus, a previous approach to the novel was done presenting the main used resources, recounting the historical told events and clarifying the historical sings of the novel.
