Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The paper must be an original work and it had neither been published nor has been considered by any other on-line or printed journal.
  • Text format, bibliographic references, and length should be according to our instructions detailed in ourAuthor Guidelines
  • The manuscripts should be sent in one of the following formats: .doc or .docx (Word de Microsoft Office).
  • Whenever possible, URL should be given.
  • Paper must keep to anonymity request : No name, institution or selfreferences. See Author Guidelines.
  • Include in personal Metadata area your ORCID (https://orcid.org/) and data of the project or programme from which the paper arises.

Author Guidelines

¿Tiene interés en publicar en Impossibilia? La revista invita a investigadoras e investigadores a enviar sus trabajos para consideración. Todos los manuscritos deben ajustarse a las Normas de Estilo.

Impossibilia cuenta con las siguientes secciones para la recepción de artículos y contribuciones, si desea realizar un envío, seleccione la sección correspondiente en la plataforma de la revista:

Monographic

Every year, two calls for papers shall be issued (spring and autumn) for Monographic section. Papers must be original pieces of work and have never been published before in any printed or digital media. The minimum lenght is 33.000 characteres with spaces and the maximum is 40.000.

Miscellany

This section will include papers dedicated to different literary topics, with a theorethical, critical, historiographical or comparatistic approach.

Reviews

This is a space where to comment books recently published on literature studies, literature theory, criticism, comparative literature and history of literature. 8.000-10.000 characters with spaces.

Reception and proccesing of papers has no costs for authors.

Author assumes responsibility for the ideas contained in the article.

Papers must be original and must not have been published before and at the moment they are submitted, papers should not be in the process of evaluation by any other electronic or printed media.

The authors are allowed and recommended to publish their published work through the internet. It could produced interesting exchanges and increase the published work citation. (See El efecto del acceso abierto).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal will be used exclusively for the purposes established herein and will not be provided to third parties or used for other purposes, unless required by law.

If you register as an author or reviewer, the purpose will be to manage the performance of the corresponding functions related to the journal in which you register.

If you register as a reader, the purpose will be to send you information about the journal in which you register.

You can access your data, rectify them, delete them, request data portability, or request limitation of processing.
