This research proposes to delve into the causes and consequences of bullying and especially cyberbullying, which represents a phenomenon that has expanded rapidly in recent years in the school environment. For this reason, this approach is considered necessary for the prevention and intervention in cases of aggression on the Internet within the classrooms of Compulsory Secondary Education, with the aim of covering this problem not only from tutorial action and the subject of Technology, but also from all subjects that make use of ICT. Thus, the main characteristics of bullying and cyberbullying will be reviewed, highlighting their similarities and differences, data will be provided to underline the worrying increase of this phenomenon and, finally, we will try to raise awareness among members of the educational community —and not only— about the urgency of an effective, continuous, and comprehensive prevention.
