Abstract
The content of pesticides and polichlorobiphenyl compounds of the waters of human and animal consumption of the province of Granada, has been studied. From 93 sites analyzed, an higher pollution is manifested from the samples proceeding from rivers. There are no clear differences between the samples proceeding from well water or spring water. The most
polluted zones are those from the «Montes» (Western and Eastern) and those from the «Costa». In none cases analyzed, the individual as well as the global values reach the values of danger, in relation with the maximum admitted in the United States, for drinking water as well as for other foods constituent of the diet.
