Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, the world is affected by a public health emergency caused by COVID-19 with high levels of contagion and deaths. Its rapid spread throughout the world led the health authorities to declare it a pandemic and impose restriction and confinement measures to minimize the risks of contagion and lethality (WHO, 2020). The educational centers were closed under the virtual modality and the support services for students with disabilities were canceled, causing serious psychological disorders and difficulties in accessing learning in the population (UN 2020). The bibliographic review has shown that there are great inequities in educational opportunities, since 34.7% of teachers did not contemplate curricular adjustments in their planning. The urgent need to review current public policies, strengthen ongoing training programs for teachers, guidance and support for parents, and develop concrete proposals aimed at ensuring inclusive, equitable and quality education in accordance with SDG 4 was evidenced.
