Abstract

Teaching competences for connectivism generates new skills and acts on them for lifelong learning. The 21st century competencies for the teaching-learning process in educational connectivism are:  information skills, critical thinking, digital skills, and basic and superior thinking skills. With the aim of building a proposal through the design of the teaching-learning methodology in the educational digital world based on the paradigm of connectivism, towards a contemporary education. Based on a methodological study of five phases: first│ Design a diagnosis to know how much the student knows about the competences and skills, second│ Planning of strategies connectivism skills, critical thinking, digital skills, and basic and higher thinking skills. Whose objective is the construction of a proposal; the design of a teaching-learning methodology in the digital educational world based on the connectivism paradigm, towards a contemporary education. Under the methodology study, in five steps; first│ is to design a diagnosis to find out how much the students knows about the competences, second│ Planning strategies for teaching and learning about the competences and skills, third│ The educational intervention of strategies for the development of competences, and is report, fourth │ Process of evaluation and analysis of strategies, fifth │ Finally the conclusions. Competitions are for people to be successful today and tomorrow. Connectivism in the digital age, a teaching-learning theory for the new generations in which they generate or add value to the nation.
