Abstract

The Canary Islands became a strategic seaport in the Atlantic Ocean during the British imperial expansion in Africa and Asia. Thanks to that, a vast colony was settled in the Islands where
new customs and rites were introduced. British influence until civil war and the construction of Anglican Temples and their stained glass windows served as starting point to create these artworks in the Canary Islands, which were unknown until that moment.
