Author Biography

Tyler Barbour, Universidad de Cadiz

Tyler Barbour has a doctorate in Arts and Humanities from the University of Cádiz. In 2019, he received the honors, Cum Laude, for his doctoral thesis Flamenco and Literature: Political Dissidence in Late-Francoism and the Spanish Transition (1967-1979). At the University of Cádiz, he is currently a member of the of the research group “Contemporary Studies of Spanish Literature”, and a lecturer. His book, Writers and Flamenco: The Fight Against Franco (1967-1978), has been accepted for publication by the University of Cadiz and will be released in 2023.
