Abstract

"Burgués, cultura burguesa, son términos que hoy han perdido relevancia que antaño tenían (Weber, Simmel, Sombart) para el análisis del fenómeno del capitalismo. Posiblemente, como señala Moretti, porque el burgués es “una criatura enigmática”, a la vez idealista y mundana. El propósito declarado de su último libro es examinar esta figura según aparece “refractada por el prisma de la literatura”...
