This article analyses the exile experience of women from their narrative contributions to the Araucaria de Chile magazine (1978-1989), in particular the texts published in the section "Un millón de chilenos" are reviewed. To this end, the first section contextualizes the narrative presence of women in “Un millón de chilenos” during the first stage of the magazine's circulation, establishing distinctions between the type of reflection they develop. In the following three sections, each of the types of narratives is approached from an analytical description of the texts, which allows identifying the main lines of argument to account for the exile experience. In the conclusion, some discussions proposed in the texts are collected to organize the contributions of women's exile narratives to the field of discussion, which expose the importance of the exile print culture and the main interpretative lines that women give to exile from their narratives.
