The well-known paradoxes of Zeno of Elea seem authentic microfictions. With an unbeatable account, the author succeeds in demonstrating, beyond the immediate attitude of showing, that it is necessary to accept something counter-evident. These paradoxes have survived the objections of philosophers, physicists and mathematicians. Particularly the story of Achilles and the tortoise was a challenge to the polis, to the mythical sphere of ancient Greece; even an irony, for the goddess Thetis could not come to the aid of her son Achilles (just as Aphrodite brought her son Paris out of the confrontation with Menelaus). An anonymous turtle (or the Chelone nymph who mocked Zeus?) defeats the Homeric hero of the Iliad. Well, the Colombian writer Paul Brito allows himself to be seduced by the vertigo of the thinker of Elea and accepts the invitation that has been beating there for so many centuries, through 101 microfictions on this paradox.
