Abstract

Pedro Lemebel, the queer Chilean, communist writer and performer died in 2015 leaving behind not only a great number of literary works and performances but also a poetics about southern, racial, gender and economic discrimination. Five years later, Fernando Blanco, in the role of editor, recovers his poetics in La vida imitada, narrativa, performance y visualidad en Pedro Lemebel. This collection of essays let us approach this leading Chilean literary figure and his works from an intimate, honest and yet firmly humanistic and critical prose.
